Fall 2024 Youth Registration

WELCOME TO THE 2024 FALL YOUTH REGISTRATION FOR DRAGON LACROSSE!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, order a game day uniform and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your online payment (credit/debit card) information available.


Fall lacrosse is open to all players, K-8th grade, of any skill level  regardless of residency. However, for spring lacrosse player are REQUIRED to play for the team that in associated with their ISD or closest to their home address. What is Sixes?

Sixes is a modified box/field hybrid lacrosse game modeled on the World Lacrosse Sixes rules. Sixes games are fast-paced and a great way for lacrosse players to develop their lacrosse skills, game IQ and creativity. Southlake’s program will be led by Bruce Frady, Nick Sagraves and Shawn Lamb. Bruce is Southlake’s Varsity Head Coach and Program Director. Nick is the Offensive Coordinator for the Southlake High School team and youth coach. Shawn is a youth and HS assistant coach.

Cost 

$330 per player + $30 reversible Sixes Pinnie (Required for new players)
Cost includes player card required for ULETE.

Logistics

  • Registration is open to BOYS of any skill level from Southlake and surrounding communities
  • Season starts September 15th and ends November 17th
  • Each age group will meet twice per week for 1-1.5 hours
  • Each session will consist of skill & game training followed by 6v6 game
  • Locations: SUNDAYS--ULETE 2308 Dean Way, Southlake, TX 76092
    Wednesdays or Thursdays--Carroll High School 800 Whites Chapel Blvd., Southlake TX 76092
     

Age Groups Practices
Practices will be 2x/wk. Sundays will be at Ulete indoor facility. The second parctice will be either Wednesday or Thursday at CHS. Exact day for CHS wil be determined closer to the start of the season. 

  • K: Sunday–ULETE 1-2pm; W or Th 5-6:15pm
  • 1st–2nd: Sunday–ULETE 2-3pm; W or Th 5-6:15pm
  • 3rd–4th: Sunday–ULETE 1-2pm; W or Th 5-6:15pm
  • 5th–6th: Sunday–ULETE 2-3pm; W or Th 6:15-7:30pm
  • 7th–8th: Sunday–ULETE 3-4pm; W or Th 6:15-7:30pm

Game Format

  • 6 players, including a goalie, per team, on the field
  • Short stick only
  • No offsides
  • Shot clock
  • No faceoff after a goal 
  • Soft ball or tennis balls used for games
  • 20-30 minute skill session followed by Games consiting of 4 7-10 minute quarters

Don’t have equipment, don’t worry!  SCLA has purchased a limited number of new equipment sets (helmet, stick, shoulder, arm pads, and gloves) that will be available to borrow for the entire fall season.  This equipment is limited and available to Southlake players.  Please contact president@southlakelacrosse.org to secure your equipment.


US LACROSSE REQUIREMENT

You must register first with US Lacrosse. Your US Lacrosse registration needs to be through November 20, 2024 or later. Then you can return to this Registration Session to complete the Fall 2024 signup.  If you have not already signed up with US Lacrosse or that registration is about to expire, please follow these steps.

Step 1:  Obtain a US Lacrosse Membership

  • IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP:  CLICK HERE
    •  Each athlete must have their own unique US Lacrosse membership that is current for Fall through November 20, 2024.
  • TO LOOK UP/RENEW A US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP:  CLICK HERE

Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the US Lacrosse Membership ID that you received in Step 1.  Once you enter your membership number into our Dragon Lacrosse Registration, please press "refresh" if system isn't recognizing your input. 


Refund Policy
Player fees are refundable up until the time that the player attends tryouts and/ or the first practice. After that time, no refunds will be issued. Each refund request will be issued less $50 to cover any out of pocket expenses, credit card processing fees, or other costs incurred. To cancel a player’s registration, written documentation should be provided through an email sent to the current Registrar and Treasurer. Player’s name and reason for cancellation must be included on the refund/cancellation request.
