WELCOME TO THE 2023 FALL YOUTH BOYS REGISTRATION FOR DRAGON LACROSSE!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, order a game day uniform and submit payment. 

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your online payment (credit/debit card) information available, or select off-line payment if sending in a check for total balance.

Fall Season September 11-November 16

What is Sixes?

Sixes is a modified box/field hybrid lacrosse game modeled on the World Lacrosse Sixes rules. Sixes games are fast-paced and a great way for lacrosse players to develop their lacrosse skills, game IQ and creativity. Southlake’s program will be led by Bruce Frady, Justin Anderson, and Nick Sagraves. Bruce is Southlake’s Varsity Head Coach and Program Director. Justin is Southlake’s Offensive Coordinator, a current payer with the PLL’s Chrome Lacrosse Club, and the winner of the PLL’s inaugural Sixes Championship Series. Nick is an Assistant Varsity coach with Southlake’s High School team.

Cost 

$300 per player, includes a reversible pinnie

Logistics

• Registration is open to BOYS of any skill level from Southlake and surrounding communities
• Season starts September 11th and ends November 16th
• Each age group will meet twice per week for 1-1.5 hours
• Each session will consist of skill & game training followed by 6v6 game
• Location: Turf rink at Bicentennial Park 

Age Groups Practices

• K–Monday 5:30-6:30; Sunday 11:00am-12:15pm
• 1st – 2nd–Tuesday 5:30-6:30; Sunday 11:00am-12:15pm
• 3rd – 4th–Wednesday 5:30-6:45; Sunday 12:15-1:30
• 5th – 6th–Monday 6:45-8:00; Thursday 5:30-6:45
• 7th – 8th–Wednesday 6:45-8:00; Thursday 6:45-8:00

Game Format

• 6 players, including a goalie, per team, on the field
• Short stick only
• No offsides
• Shot clock
• No faceoff after a goal 
• Soft ball or tennis balls used for games
• 20-30 minute skill session followed by Games consiting of 4 7-10 minute quarters

Don’t have equipment, don’t worry!  SCLA has purchased a limited number of new equipment sets (helmet, stick, shoulder, arm pads, and gloves) that will be available to borrow for the entire fall season.  This equipment is limited and available to Southlake players.  Please contact president@southlakelacrosse.org to secure your equipment.

You must register first with US Lacrosse. Your US Lacrosse registration needs to be through November 20, 2023 or later. Then you can return to this Registration Session to complete the Fall 2023 signup.  If you have not already signed up with US Lacrosse or that registration is about to expire, please follow these steps.

Step 1:  Obtain a US Lacrosse Membership

  •  Each athlete must have their own unique US Lacrosse membership that is current for Fall through November 20, 2023.

Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the US Lacrosse Membership ID that you received in Step 1.  Once you enter your membership number into our Dragon Lacrosse Registration, please press "refresh" if system isn't recognizing your input.
